General Surgeon needed in Kansas_x000D_ Located in Coby, KS_x000D_ 4 hours to Colorado Springs CO & Wichita KS_x000D_ _x000D_ - Full time, permanent_x000D_ - Primarily outpatient practice focus. _x000D_ - Bread and Butter surgeries along with Endoscopy. _x000D_ - When on call respond to Trauma at our Level 4 Trauma/ER. _x000D_ - Employed position with a guaranteed base salary and full benefits package_x000D_ - This Surgeon will be joining 2 other well established General surgeons who have been in the community for over 6-10 years_x000D_ - Great life work balance with a 4 day work week, 6 weeks off per year, and 1/3 call_x000D_ - Low call back volumes._x000D_ _x000D_ Compensation and Benefits Detail_x000D_ - $400,000 - $450,000 base salary_x000D_ - $10,000 Relocation allowance_x000D_ - Sign on bonus - $10,000 per year of commitment _x000D_ - $24,000 per year student loan repayment _x000D_ - $4,000 CME per year_x000D_ - Pay for malpractice, license, DEA and required certificates outside of CME._x000D_ - 5% contribution to 401 K_x000D_ - 6 weeks off per year_x000D_ _x000D_ Current Medical Staff_x000D_ Citizens also employees a number of other medical providers including our large and vibrant primary care clinic that_x000D_ has 8 physicians and 10 Advance Practice Providers (APP). The ER is staffed by our own group along with 3 additional full_x000D_ time APPs. Our FPs do OB and performs their own C-sections. If candidate had experience or interest in GYN/OB, that_x000D_ would be great! We also have started an in-house ortho program and have a hired a full time APP to administer and_x000D_ support an Orthopedist who comes every other week for surgeries and procedures. Lastly we have visiting doctors_x000D_ performing surgical procedures ie. ENT, Ophthalmology, and Podiatry._x000D_ _x000D_ Group consists of a community based, private not-for-profit 25 bed critical access hospital, a_x000D_ family practice clinic, and a long-term care facility._x000D_ Hospital acute care admissions in 2021 totaled 975, outpatient visits totaled 650,000, over 1,596_x000D_ surgeries/procedures were performed, 194 deliveries, and 3,345 ER visits. Healthcare group is served by a_x000D_ thriving Specialty Clinic with over 41 specialty physicians from Salina, Kearney NE, Hays, Wichita, and Denver,_x000D_ CO.
