**General Surgery Opening in Illinois**_x000D_ _x000D_ - Located in Sterling, IL - 115 miles from Chicago_x000D_ - Part-time opening (potentially open to full-time)_x000D_ _x000D_ Medical Center is a 99 bed community based hospital in Sterling, IL with an employed physician model. We currently employ 68 physicians in 35 areas of medicine. In addition to our hospital and main clinic, medical center offers 12 additional satellite facilities in the surrounding service areas._x000D_ _x000D_ Currently seeking a BC/BE General Surgeon who prefers to practice in an environment that will offer a comfortable work-life balance in a community of about 26,000 residents._x000D_ Schedule can be either be full time or part time depending upon the candidates needs. _x000D_ The ideal candidate will have a broad-based traditional general surgery background. _x000D_ _x000D_ Our procedures include all abdominal, all breast, some endocrine, and minimal trauma. Our cases can be broadly described as bread and butter. Laparoscopic skills required.
