About the Opportunity:

  • Candidates should be board-certified in General Surgery and fellowship-trained in colorectal surgery with additional robotics experience.
  • The Surgeon will provide surgical consultation and care to individuals needing assistance in the management of diverse colorectal diseases, including complex anorectal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, and cancer treatment. Candidates must have 7+ years of clinical experience in colorectal practice, as well as leadership skills.
  • Dedication to team building and participation in strategic programmatic growth initiatives are essential to the successful applicant.
  • The position includes teaching and mentoring all levels of surgical trainees.
  • Participate in quality, safety, and education for all staff and participate in committees.
  • Participating in call to assist our acute care surgery team in the management of complex colorectal emergencies as needed and scheduled.
  • Participating in the educational and administrative activities of HHC?s Digestive Health Institute.
  • Work closely with the Chair of the Department of Surgery on community outreach initiatives and innovative clinical redesign projects.
