JOB DESCRIPTION: Medical center in Kentucky is seeking a Colorectal Surgeon to provide both Colorectal and General Surgery. Experience preferred. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package offered. Position highlights: Colorectal (20-25%) and General Surgery (75-80%) Very busy GI Program providing over 2,500 scopes annually Practice located adjacent to Hospital OR Staff proficient in all areas of Surgery Towers, Scopes, and Monitors only a couple years old 4 OR Suites. Endo Room, Cysto Room with scheduling availability HOSPITAL: A JCAHO accredited acute care general facility that serves a market area of 75,000 in Southern West Virginia and Eastern Kentucky that provides a full range of routine and ancillary services including a coronary/intensive care unit and obstetrical/nursery services with renovated birthing suites. The medical center also has a 24-hour emergency room with physician coverage, state-of-the-art surgical department, an acute care adult psychiatric unit that offers a full spectrum of outpatient psychiatric services, and a home health agency associated with the hospital.
