Job Description
Our Medical Center in North Carolina (53m from Charlotte) is seeking a BE/BC Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join a hospital-employed practice with two existing CV Surgeons.
Experience preferred but not required. Call is 1:3. Practice is fully supported by APPs and our large cardiology practice.
Required Skill Set:
- Full scope of adult cardiothoracic procedures
- Fellowship trained in transcatheter valve and complex aortic surgery
- TAVR
- TEVR
- CABG
OUR Cardiothoracic Surgery is experienced in caring for patients with a wide range of heart and lung diseases including heart failure, coronary artery disease, valve disease and more. Our fellowship-trained cardiovascular surgeons perform both open and minimally invasive surgical techniques and work with each patient to tailor care specific to their unique needs. The Cardiothoracic Surgery features dedicated, knowledgeable surgeons offering surgical and minimally invasive procedures for a variety of heart and lung conditions.
Surgical procedures are performed at Our Regional Medical Center, It is the first Health heart affiliate in western North Carolina. Backed by the resources of the Duke Heart Center, The Regional gains access to Duke training and staff education as well as evidence-based guidelines and best practices to enhance the quality of cardiovascular care across the Catawba Valley region.
