Cardiovascular Service Line Co-Director Opening in Nashville, TN - Located in Nashville - Full Time; Permanent - Employed Overview: - Schedule: Full-time, .6 clinical .4 administrative - Practice Detail: Nationally known cardiovascular program adding a Co-Director - EMR System: Cerner inpatient, Athena outpatient - Minimum of 5-10 years of clinical experience in cardiology, with some experience in leadership roles preferred - Cardiovascular Service Line consists of 78 cardiologists, 9 cardiac surgeons, and 93 APPs across 20 Hospitals and 45 clinic facilities throughout Tennessee - Collaborate with the Cardiovascular Service Line Director and other co-directors to establish and implement the strategic vision and operational plans for the service line. - Provide high-quality patient care through clinical practice, including diagnosing, treating, and managing cardiovascular conditions. - Lead clinical initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes, safety, and the overall quality of cardiovascular care. - Serve as a key liaison between the medical staff and administrative leadership to align clinical priorities with business objectives. - Participate in and oversee quality assurance and performance improvement programs within the cardiovascular service line. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior cardiologists, residents, and fellows to support clinical education and training. - Contribute to the development and enforcement of clinical protocols, policies, and procedures. - Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and committees related to cardiovascular care, ensuring collaboration with other specialties. - Support and participate in community outreach efforts and promote cardiovascular health education. - Assist with budget planning, resource allocation, and identifying opportunities for service line growth and development. - Drive initiatives related to research, clinical trials, or publications to contribute to advancements in the field of cardiology.
