Job Summary:

HCA Florida Heart and Lung partnered with HCA Florida Capital Hospital seeks a talented cardiovascular surgeon to join their established practice and growing service line in Tallahassee, Florida.

Qualified Candidates:
  • Join a growing network of experienced cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeons with locations from Gainesville, Tallahassee, Ocala, Orlando, Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola.
  • Florida Heart and Lung encompasses several advanced cardiovascular thoracic surgical programs, including TAVR, minimally invasive cardiac and robotic thoracic surgery, as well as aortic surgery and ECMO.
  • Practice currently performs coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacements.
  • The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
    • Experience and comfort level with aortic disease, valve repair and replacement to include open and endovascular aortic procedures
    • Experience with TAVR and CABG
    • Knowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures
  • The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within the team of our growing program, and have a positive track record of team building.
  • Our interdisciplinary team includes cardiologists, anesthesiologists, surgical, RN and Critical Care staff to produce the highest possible quality and outcomes.
  • While a minimum of 5 years of experience is preferred, candidates with less experience will be considered and are encouraged to apply.
