Schedule:

• Practice Type: Hospital (Mon-Sun)
• Average Number of hospital patients per physical day: 2
• Admissions: 2/week
• ICU: 1/day
• Surgeries: 2/week
• Callback Percentage: Weekday 5%, Weekend 5%, ER 5%, ICU 5%

Practice Setting/Cases Seen:

• Caseload Percentage: 98% Adult, 2% Trauma, Hospital 100%
• Will other thoracic surgeons be present during locum tenens coverage? No
• Locum tenens physician required to supervise other healthcare providers: Yes, PA on staff
• Documentation System: EPIC
• Worksite Resources: Lab and X-ray onsite
• Hospital Services:
  • Total Number of Beds: 222
  • ICU Beds: 10
  • Trauma Level: III

Required Procedures:

• General CV/thoracic surgery – open endoscopic
• Coronary artery bypass surgery – on pump
• Valvular replacement
• Aneurysm repair – cardiac, aorto-thoracic
• Lung resection (including VATs)
• Chest wall or pleural procedures
• Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
• Insertion of Central line, Arterial line, PA catheter, IABP

Preferred Procedures:

• Valvular repair
• Esophagus and diaphragm surgeries
• Ventilation management
• Bronchoscopy

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Cardiovascular & Thoracic Surgery
• Epic Experience
• BLS, ACLS
• WY State License
• Must be available to start ASAP upon credentialing (estimated start: December 2024)
