VeloSource has a Cardiothoracic Surgery Opportunity in Williamsport, PA.

• Trauma Level Designation: Level II
• Active PA state license required
• Must be Board Certified
• Minimum # Years Experience: 2
• DEA Required
• Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS
• Coverage Need: 24 Hour Shifts, Call Coverage. Prefer providers who could assist with weekends a stretch of vacation/holidays.
• Estimated Shifts/Month: 7
• Types of Calls: In-House; 30min Response
• Notes re: Call: 30-minute response radius and can be taken from local hotel downtown.
• APP support 7am-6pm then switches to cardiac surgeon from 6pm-7am next day.
• Providers Typical Day: rounding on consults and surgical cases. Cases typically start around 7/7:30am. Day generally ends at 5 pending case load and acuity of post-ops, etc. Day consists of surgery, IP consults, CVICU rounding on post-ops., etc.
• Typical Cases Seen: CABG AVR MVR ECMO Single Chamber Pacers Thoracic
• Travel Covered: Mileage (Personal Vehicle); Airfare; Lodging; Parking; Rental Car & Fuel
