There is need in Pennsylvania for a Cardiac Surgery position starting ASAP, 6 + month assignment with option to extend. Please review the job criteria and let me know if you can assist.
• Length of contract: tbd
• Start date: 11/4/24
• Coverage Type: Looking for a cardiac surgery to cover cases and call for when our primary surgeon is on vacation or needs weekends off
• Schedule Details: Typically 2 long weekends a month (Thursday-Monday) and any additional stretches for PTO or holidays.
The site needs someone to cover consecutive days like a Thursday at 7am- to the following Monday at 7am, not one day at a time. Minimal calls on inpatients and admissions. Rarely get urgent dissections or overnight needs that require surgical intervention.
Work Details:
• Facility Type: Hospital
• EMR/Charting Software: epic and cerner
• Patient Age Group: adult
• Procedures: Rounding on inpatients, cases, clinic. It varies. Wednesdays are TAVRs and TAVR and TAVR clinic days. Bread and butter Cardiac cases. CABG, AVR, MVR
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: BC required
• State License(s): PA required
• Certifications: ACLS BLS
• CSR Req’d: no
• DEA Req’d?: yes
• Years of Experience Req’d: 2
Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
