Comprehensive Level One Staffing is Founded by fellowship-trained endovascular Neurosurgeon, Dr. Anthony Maioriello. At Comprehensive Level One Staffing we specialize in providing surgical staffing coverage to hospitals on a full-time, part-time, and per-diem basis and are looking for cardiothoracic surgeons to join our team!

We are working with a hospital in Wyoming that is seeking cardiothoracic surgery coverage. The great thing about Wyoming is that they participate in the IMLC making the option for licensing quick and efficient.

Details:
  • Practice Type: Hospital (Mon-Sun all day)
  • Callback Percentage: Weekday 5; Weekend 5; ER 5; ICU 5
  • Caseload Percentage: 98% Adult, Trauma 2%, Hospital 100%
  • Average Number of hospital patients per physical day: 2
  • Admissions: 2/week
  • ICU: 1/day
  • Surgeries: 2/week
  • Locum tenens physician required to supervise other healthcare providers: Yes, PA on staff
  • Will other thoracic surgeons be present during locum tenens coverage? No

Hospital Services:

Required Procedures:
  • General CV/thoracic surgery – open endoscopic
  • Coronary artery bypass surgery – on pump
  • Valvular replacement
  • Aneurysm repair – cardiac, aorto-thoracic
  • Lung resection (including VATs)
  • Chest wall or pleural procedures
  • Eval. and mgmt. of acute vol / BP issues
  • Insertion of Central line, Arterial line, PA catheter, IABP
Preferred Procedures:
  • Valvular – repair
  • Esophagus and diaphragm surgeries
  • Ventilation management
  • Bronchoscopy
Requirements:
Board Certified in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery
Wyoming license or IMLC qualified
