Join a Leading Cardiovascular Team: Well-established, hospital-employed surgical group in South Alabama seeks an additional Cardiovascular Surgeon to join a team of three board-certified surgeons.

Job Responsibilities

-22 OR's with access to 2 endovascular suites and open heart suites
-daVinci robotic surgical system available
-Office located on hospital campus for easy access to OR
-56 total ICU beds with dedicated CVICU beds in the newly expanded progressive care unit
-Cardiothoracic APP's assist in OR, perform vein harvesting, facilitate rounds, and see patients in post-op clinic
-Exceptional referral-base with strong Primary Care and Cardiology sources
-Robust IM Hospitalist service provides medical consult support for non- surgical illnesses
*Experience with and willingness to be a part of a TAVR program is requested

Qualifications

Completion (or anticipated completion) of an ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic residency or fellowship is required.
Eligibility to obtain an Alabama state medical license and DEA
Must be board-certified or board-eligible at the time of hire.
