- Clinical Role:
- Seeking additional Cardiovascular Surgeon to join their well-established practice of 3 board-certified surgeons
- This would be a hospital-employed practice opportunity
- Medical Center has the strongest Cardiovascular program in the region, ranking in the Top 10 percent nationally for patient safety for heart attack, interventional coronary, and vascular care
- Established interventional, non- invasive, and structural heart programs offer this surgeon access to thoracic, cardiac, and vascular cases
- Experience with and willingness to be a part of a TAVR program is requested
- DaVinci robotic surgical system available
- Call shared equally at 1:4
- Office located on Southeast Health campus for easy access to hospital
- Cardiothoracic APP's assist in OR, perform vein harvesting, facilitate rounds, and see patients in post-op clinic
- Exceptional referral-base with strong Primary Care and Cardiology sources
- Robust IM Hospitalist service provides medical consult support for non- surgical illnesses
