StaffMed Health Partners has partnered with a hospital and local practice in Central Florida to assist them with the recruitment of an additional cardiothoracic surgeon to join their established practice and growing service line.

The hospital you will be affiliated with is a 323-bed facility with almost 500 physicians on staff. It is part of a system in the metro area that boasts another 222-bed hospital and 3 freestanding emergency departments. This hospital system includes an Inpatient Rehabilitation Center, Wound Care Center and Imaging Center. With a Level I Trauma Center and the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center, these facilities offer a host of quality and award-winning services, which include orthopedic, cardiovascular, emergency and neurological care, robotic and weight loss surgery and rehabilitation services.

- Experience required
- Work with an experienced team of providers – another cardiothoracic surgeon and 3 APPs experienced in endo vein harvesting
- CVICU, two heart surgery rooms, strong perfusion, dedicated hybrid-OR, and dedicated EP and Cath services
- Three cardiac anesthesiologists with dedicated service
- Practice currently performs coronary revascularization, valve repair and replacements as well as broad based thoracic surgery. Several advanced cardiothoracic surgical programs, including TAVR, minimally invasive cardiac and robotic thoracic surgery, as well as aortic surgery and ECMO.
- Experience and comfort level with aortic disease, valve repair and replacement to include open and endovascular aortic procedures
- Experience with TAVR
- Minimally invasive lung surgery
- Knowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedure
- Ability to work collaboratively within the team of our growing program.
- Our interdisciplinary team includes cardiologists, anesthesiologists, surgical, RN and Critical Care staff to produce the highest possible quality and outcomes.
