**Breast Surgeon opportunity in Ashland, KY** - Tri-State Border of KY, WV, & OH, about 65 miles from Charleston, WV **About the Opportunity:** - Full-time, permanent - Hospital employed - Opportunity for a Breast Surgeon within Surgical Oncology program. Due to a significant increase in patient volumes, we are actively seeking a second full-time breast surgeon to help us provide comprehensive, coordinated cancer care. The new surgeon will be joining an existing fellowship trained breast surgeon, who has a large practice and volumes have increased significantly, along with local breast surgeon across the river looking to retire January. - The health system prides itself on offering patients the ability to receive all their oncology care within the health system, including surgical oncology. This position is unique - there is no general surgery call, allowing you to concentrate exclusively on breast surgery. You will collaborate closely with our dedicated medical and radiation oncology teams, participating in weekly tumor board meetings where specialists from various disciplines discuss and develop innovative treatment plans. - You will benefit from a robust support system, including two dedicated breast imagers - one of whom is fellowship-trained - enhancing our outpatient imaging capabilities.
