Job Description

Position highlights:

    • We are part of a CoC accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program with an ACR designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center
    • Patient support services include nurse navigation, oncology nutrition, licensed social worker, spiritual care, financial navigator
    • 2 physicians and 2 APP's
    • High-risk
      clinic
      Benign and malignant case
    • In house, Radiology, Pathology, and Anesthesia
    • OR block time
    • Direct access to Cancer Institute
    • RFID chip localization
    • Ultrasounds
    • Blue Dye or ICG dye Capability
    • Onsite biopsies
    • 1st assists available

Job Responsibilities

Diagnosis and preoperative, operative, and postoperative management of patients with diseases,
injuries, and disorders of the breast. Evaluate and manage arm lymphedema and side effect of breast cancer treatment.
Weekly tumor board and lymphedema clinic

Qualifications

Looking for an experienced Breast Surgeon who has completed an ACGME or AOA accredited Residency training program in Surgery - General and one-year breast fellowship program approved by the Society of Surgical Oncology or demonstrate experience and outcomes that are determined to be equivalent.
Also, case logs from the last 12 months must be made available.

Working Hours

Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 with 1/2 day of administration

Skills

Breast surgery, general surgery, ultrasounds, experience with benign and malignant cases. Diagnosis and preoperative, operative, and postoperative management of patients with diseases,
injuries, and disorders of the breast. Evaluate and manage arm lymphedema and side effect of breast cancer treatment.
