One of the largest medical groups south of Boston is adding a Breast Surgeon to its network of over 150 primary and specialty care providers. The group serves a culturally and socio-economically diverse patient population. Medical and surgical affiliation with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center provides better access to specialized care, innovative procedures, and the research capabilities of one of the nation?s preeminent academic medical centers.
About the opportunity
- The ideal candidate should have experience serving patients with breast cancer and interfacing with a multidisciplinary team of Surgeons, Medical and Radiation Oncologists, Radiologists, and ancillary staff to provide exemplary care.
- Opportunities exist to participate in surgery resident and PA education.
- Interest in other surgical oncology or general surgery areas is a plus, but it is not required.
- The Hospital offers high-quality, comprehensive surgical care in a wide array of specialties, including state-of-the-art minimally invasive surgery.
- The surgical team comprises licensed, extensively trained staff dedicated to providing the safest possible patient experience.
- Surgical programs include Colorectal Surgery, Orthopedics, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Podiatry, Thoracic Surgery, and vascular surgery.
- Non-profit organization includes a 217-bed Hospital and 18 ambulatory offices.
