Breast/General Surgeon Job Opportunity in Carbondale, IL
Full- Time
We are part of a CoC accredited Comprehensive Community Cancer Program with an ACR designated Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center. Our patient support services include nurse navigation, oncology nutrition, licensed social worker, spiritual care, and a financial navigator. This is an employed position at our freestanding Breast Center under the Department of General Surgery, where you will join a team of 2 physicians and 2 APPs.
Position Highlights:
Employed position in a dedicated Breast Center
Access to high-risk clinic for benign and malignant cases
In-house Radiology, Pathology, and Anesthesia
Dedicated OR block time
Direct access to the Cancer Institute
Advanced procedures including RFID chip localization, ultrasounds, Blue Dye, and ICG dye capability
Onsite biopsies with first assist availability
