Overview

Dignity Health Medical Group - Northridge is recruiting an additional, full-time Nocturnist to join our hospitalist service in Northridge, CA.

  • 7 on 7 off (183 annual shifts)
  • 7PM-5AM or 10PM-8AM shifts
  • Closed ICU

Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.
  • Quality Improvement: Engage in quality assurance initiatives and analyze clinical outcomes for improvement.
  • Compliance: Adhere to ethical standards and stay informed about healthcare regulations.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on medical advancements and participate in ongoing education and training.


Qualifications
  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license
  • Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (ABMS or AOA)
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Pay Range
$137.01 - $148.68 /hour
