We are looking for an energetic nocturnist to join our well established hospitalist/nocturnist team. with the potential to expand further. The candidate will join our well-established Hospitalist team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff.
Job Highlights:
- 5 on, 10 off (140 shifts a year)
- Open ICU with required pulmonary/critical care consult within 24 hours
- Manage admissions at night while APP manages the floor

Qualifications
Education/Certifications and Experience required:
- Current clinical competence and adequate volume of current experience documenting the ability to provide services at an acceptable level of quality and efficiency;
- 2 years’ experience in acute care
- Board certified or board eligible through applicable ABSM body
- Current licensure from the Texas Medical Board, preferred
- Additional skills include effective communication and leadership skills, able to facilitate change. Orients to physician practice/ patient population including attending and participating in multi-disciplinary rounds; participate in and support accreditation, compliance, and regulatory activities of the organization.
Pay Range
$134.62 - $144.00 /hour
