Job/Practice Description: Sleep Medicine Physician
- Located in Saginaw, MI (1hr from Detroit)
- 8-bed sleep center with plans for expansion to 10 beds
- Diagnosing and treating sleep disorders across a diverse patient population, providing both clinical expertise and patient-centered care.
- Our sleep center provides a full range of sleep studies and treatments
- Polysomnography (PSG), PAP titration, Multiple Sleep Latency Test (MSLT), Maintenance of Wakefulness Test (MWT), PAP NAP, iVAPS, ASV, and Inspire studies
- Multidisciplinary Team: Collaborate with a dedicated team of 8 registered sleep technicians, including techs with CCSH and pediatric certifications, plus 2 medical assistants
- Advanced Education Programs: Work alongside an in-house training program currently pending AASM accreditation, which will support training for new techs locally and potentially from other facilities.
- Innovative Care Programs: Lead initiatives such as the PAP Compliance Clinic, Inpatient Sleep Navigator Program, and monthly Healthy Sleep Support Groups.
- Conduct and interpret comprehensive sleep studies across a broad patient demographic, from pediatric to geriatric patients.
- Lead efforts in patient education, with a strong focus on the impact of sleep disorders on overall health.
- Engage in collaborative care and facilitate direct referrals through our open lab model.
- Mentor and guide sleep technicians through our forthcoming AASM-accredited in-house training program.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and learning, with a commitment to expanding pediatric services and addressing the needs of underserved populations.
Preferences:
- Board Eligible / Board Certified: Sleep Medicine
- Have experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of sleep disorders.
- Possess excellent clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
