Rheumatology Clinician Educator at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine

At Montefiore, DOING MORE means building on a history of firsts to create the future of healthcare. For over 100 years, we’ve been pushing the boundaries of medicine with innovations such as the intravenous cardiac pacemaker and one of the nation’s first pediatric kidney transplants.

The Division of Rheumatology at Montefiore Medical Center/the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a candidate for a tenure track, full time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level as a Clinician Educator. The position entails:

  • Clinical outpatient practice at our multi-specialty sites in the Bronx with potential opportunity to expand to the brand new Immunologic Diseases Center in Westchester County
  • Inpatient consultations and teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows in the Bronx Campuses
  • Participation in all clinical and academic divisional activities as set forth by the Division Chief
  • Participation in ongoing clinical research is also possible.

Preference will be given to applicants with strong skills and experience in musculoskeletal ultrasound. Candidates must have an M.D. or equivalent, be Board Eligible or Certified in Rheumatology, and be eligible for a license to practice medicine in the state of New York. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an academically strong, growing, and collaborative Division of Rheumatology in a leading medical school.
