Rheumatologist Amarillo TX
We are looking for a dedicated Rheumatologist to join our medical team full time in Amarillo, TX. Ideally, we are looking for a Rheumatologist who is compassionate and personable, can communicate effectively with patients and other medical staff, someone who has exceptional active listening skills, strong leadership skills, self-confidence, and has excellent analytical and critical thinking skills. The incoming Candidate should be willing to perform procedures as needed. This can be done under ultrasound guidance with assistant from an endocrinologist. The office provides digital imaging, in-house lab including autoimmune, bone density, musculoskeletal ultrasound both diagnostic and intervention, in-house infusion, and medical research.

Duties:
- Takes initial patient histories and performs physical examinations and review patient’s medical diagnosis, prognosis, medications, procedures, and clinical course
- Initiates, documents, and communicates the plan of care and follows up to ensure complete screening and preparation of patients
- Writes orders for medications, laboratory work, and diagnostic tests
- Interprets laboratory and test results
- Diagnosis and treatment/care plan formulation
- Perform procedures as needed
- Confers with physicians and/or other healthcare providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care
- Provides health education and counseling
Requirements:
- BCBE Rheumatologist
- Medical license in TX
Schedule:
- Monday- Friday (4-1/2 days a week. Monday through Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-12)
Salary (range):
- $425k (Depending on experience) plus potential bonus compensation
