DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rheumatologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with autoimmune and inflammatory diseasesin various locations in the state of Texas.

Job Description:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of rheumatologic conditions, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, gout, vasculitis, and other autoimmune diseases.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations, interpret lab results, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and biologics.
  • Perform joint injections and other procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients on managing their conditions and improving their quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in rheumatology through ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology
  • Valid medical license in Texas State
  • Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating rheumatologic conditions
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
