Seeking a Rheumatologist to join our staff in Nashville, Tennessee.
Responsibilities Include:
Conduct detailed assessments of patients with rheumatic and autoimmune conditions, including
arthritis, lupus, and vasculitis.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history, clinical
findings, and diagnostic results.
Perform joint injections, aspiration procedures, and other rheumatologic interventions.
Interpret laboratory tests and imaging studies related to rheumatic diseases.
Manage chronic conditions, including disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) and
biologics therapy.
Provide patients with education on disease management, medication use, and lifestyle
modifications.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, orthopedic
surgeons, and physical therapists, to ensure coordinated care.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options,
and expected outcomes.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions to optimize patient care.
Clinical Research and Education:
Engage in clinical research and contribute to advancements in rheumatology.
Stay current with the latest research, treatments, and advancements in the field.
Mentor and provide guidance to medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals.
