We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Rheumatologist to join our expanding Rheumatology Division. This is a full-time position that involves a balance of patient care, research, and teaching responsibilities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art medical facility and contribute to our academic mission in collaboration with the Department of Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatologic conditions.
  2. Educate and mentor medical students and residents
  3. Participate in academic research and contribute to scholarly publications.
  4. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
  5. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental conferences.

Qualifications:

  1. MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  2. Board-certified/board-eligible in Rheumatology.
  3. Eligibility for an unrestricted medical license in the state of West Virginia.
  4. Strong commitment to clinical education, research, and mentorship.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
