Position: Locum MD/DO - Rheumatologist

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive rheumatology care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of rheumatic diseases and musculoskeletal conditions.
Perform joint aspirations and injections, as well as interpret and order relevant diagnostic tests.
Collaborate closely with primary care providers, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Educate patients and their families about rheumatic conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, assessments, treatments, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Board certification or eligibility in Rheumatology.
Valid Maine medical license.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Rheumatology preferred.
Proficiency in rheumatological procedures and protocols.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
