Seeking a Rheumatologist to provide care to patients at a facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating a wide range of rheumatologic conditions, providing exceptional patient care, and will also have a passion for teaching, and research.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and examinations of patients with rheumatologic disorders.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and guidelines.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory tests, imaging studies, and joint aspirations.
• Initiate and/or recommend medical drug therapies or other forms of related therapeutic treatment and procedures in accordance with approved protocols/policy.
• Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and self-management strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Participate in academic activities, such as teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and contributing to research projects and clinical trials.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
• Perform and/or participate in any administrative duties which may be ancillary to the providing of clinical care, as necessary to perform professional functions.
• Comply with all applicable laws and canons of professional ethics.
• Maintain a practice of medicine consistent with recognized standards of medical care and perform all activities in accordance with those standards.
