Rheumatologist Opening in Rock Island, IL Located in the Quad Cities Details:

  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Offering a 4.5-day work week with minimal call
  • Located on the Mississippi River, the Quad Cities region (pop. ~500,000) offers many vibrant, affordable, and convenient communities with multiple dining and entertainment venues as well as residential communities, including Bettendorf, Iowa, which boasts the State of Iowas #1 public-school district.
  • Well established, patient-centered Rheumatology practice; part of a Multispecialty team that is growing
  • Dedicated mid-level Provider support with two APPs in the practice
  • Opportunity to conduct research
  • Loyal Primary Care referral base
Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat rheumatological conditions and diseases Clinic schedule 20-25 patients per day Occasional Inpatient consult service Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination Qualifications: MD or DO Fellowship trained and BC/BE in Rheumatology Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Illinois and Iowa Eligible to work in the United States (H-1 Visa cap-exempt and Perm Processing support available) Willingness to work as a team member Offer: Competitive salary in a community with lower cost of living that most large metro areas Current Residents are eligible to receive a Residency stipend after you sign, until your start date, while you finish your Residency Sign on bonus Medical and Prescription Drug benefits plus Dental, Vision, Life, Long/Short Term Disability, and 401k & 457b retirement savings benefits.
