**Rheumatologist Opening in Rock Island, IL** Located in the Quad Cities **Details:** - Full-time, permanent position - Offering a 4.5-day work week with minimal call - Located on the Mississippi River, the Quad Cities region (pop. ~500,000) offers many vibrant, affordable, and convenient communities with multiple dining and entertainment venues as well as residential communities, including Bettendorf, Iowa, which boasts the State of Iowas #1 public-school district. - Well established, patient-centered Rheumatology practice; part of a Multispecialty team that is growing - Dedicated mid-level Provider support with two APPs in the practice - Opportunity to conduct research - Loyal Primary Care referral base **Responsibilities:** - Diagnose and treat rheumatological conditions and diseases - Clinic schedule 20-25 patients per day - Occasional Inpatient consult service - Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on Epic EMR to improve care coordination **Qualifications:** - MD or DO - Fellowship trained and BC/BE in Rheumatology - Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine in Illinois and Iowa - Eligible to work in the United States (H-1 Visa cap-exempt and Perm Processing support available) - Willingness to work as a team member **Offer:** - Competitive salary in a community with lower cost of living that most large metro areas - Current Residents are eligible to receive a Residency stipend after you sign, until your start date, while you finish your Residency - Sign on bonus - Medical and Prescription Drug benefits plus Dental, Vision, Life, Long/Short Term Disability, and 401k & 457b retirement savings benefits. - Malpractice insurance covered with 100% Tail Coverage after 3 years of service - $5000 CME fund each year - Health system is a qualifying non-profit in the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.
