Position Highlights:
Location: Columbus Radiology Physicians, 2400 East 17th Street, Columbus, IN 47203
Schedule: Full-time, 8 am 5 pm, Monday Friday. Rotate between hospital and remote work.
Requirements: Board Eligible/Board Certified in Radiology. Light IR experience preferred.
Compensation: Up to $600,000 depending on experience.
About the Position:
Practice Overview: Radiologist services covering the hospital location and Breast Health Center.
Professional services billed by an outsourced billing company for the Hospital & Breast center.
McKesson PACS all radiologists work off the same worklist
EMR: EPIC for patient history
Director of Radiology: Bill Algee
Manager of Radiology at the hospital: Lisa Owens
Lead Techs for each modality: MRI, CT, Ultrasound, PET, PET CT, X-ray
2 Interventional Radiologists (S. Matthews/R. Vogt)
7-4 shift Interventional radiology slot
8-5 shift Light Interventional radiology slot (upper GIs, Paras & Thoras)
Radiology Nurses provided for procedures
The overall exam volume in 2022 was 135,240.
Call Schedule:
Rotated with other radiologists
13 weeks a year
Call: 5 pm 7 am Monday Friday
Weekends on call consist of picking up 3 hours of remote reading one time during the weekend (if no studies on the list then less)
Call is typically easy, with possible calls about types of exams to order, contrast questions, or sometimes needing to go in for a procedure (para/thora).
