Additional Rads Needed in Ohio

A well-established private practice located in western Ohio is seeking a couple of Radiologists. They are currently a 9-physician subspecialized practice at a single hospital system searching for replacements due the upcoming retirement of a partners. The positions are within a 435-bed hospital which anchors the major regional medical center for a 10-county area.

Neurorad - New hire can expect 50% Neuro, balance in general. This position requires interpretation of inpatient and outpatient neuroradiology studies as well as solid training and proficiency in general radiology. In addition, an interest in either breast imaging and procedures or non-vascular CT and ultrasound guided interventional procedures is required.

Interventional - The successful candidate will be one of three interventional radiologists and will share all interventional duties and call. Approximately two-thirds of the working time will be spent in interventional radiology with the remainder covering general radiology and an additional area of the candidate’s choosing (breast or nuclear imaging is preferred).

Both positions offer a salary of $425,000 for the first year with a one year partnership track. Partner compensation is highly competitive and has historically been in the upper quartile of national and state averages. Vacation is commensurate with partners from the beginning (12 weeks per year). Comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, disability insurance, medical malpractice, 401k plan and additional pension plan. CME and relocation funds are provided. The community is located between Toledo and Dayton. Major metropolitan areas such as Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, Chicago and Detroit are within easy driving distance.
