Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
• Ideal schedule would be 1st and 3rd week of the month or 2nd and 4th week of the month
• Specific Dates:
  • 3/10-3/14
  • 3/24-3/28
  • 7/7-7/11
  • 8/4-8/8 or 8/11-8/15
  • One of the weeks in Sept:
    • 9/1-9/5
    • 9/8-9/12
    • 9/29-10/3
  • 10/6-10/10 or 10/27-10/31
  • 11/3-11/7 or 11/24-11/28
  • Two weeks in Dec:
    • 12/1-12/5
    • 12/15-12/19
    • 12/22-12/26
  • ongoing coverage, two weeks per month

Clinical Details

• Outpatient Clinic
• Reading studies of all modalities in addition to diagnostic mammograms with breast biopsies
• Procedures (wire loc, biopsy, etc): 13
• Screening Mammos: 225
• Diagnostic Mammograms: 30
• For the IR doc: Procedures (basic procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, biopsies, drains, intro, abdominal drains, suprapubic catheters, nephrostomy tubes, etc)
• CT's, X-rays, Ultrasounds, MRI's
• Would be asked to read during the day from the list of radiology studies from the emergency department and inpatient, but if there is anything the locum doesn't feel comfortable reading, they do have the option to send to Teleradiology group
• Mainly needed for mammography and breast biopsies. If the locum is able to read PET, that would be great appreciated in addition to any other studies (CT, MRI, X-ray, US, etc)

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active CA License
• Residency (Ability to perform diagnostic mammograms and biopsies)
• Active DEA
• ACLS, BLS
• Clean Malpractice/Background - Highly Preferred
• Required Procedures: Read Mammo, PET and perform breasts biopsies
• must have recent biopsy experience

Support Staff

• Radiology techs, US techs, other support staff
• Facility has a radiologist onsite for mammography 3 days/week
