Exciting Career Opportunity: General Radiologist for Outpatient Imaging Division
Healthcare United – Near New Bedford, Massachusetts

Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Radiologist to join our busy outpatient imaging division near New Bedford, Massachusetts. We welcome full-time candidates, as well as those seeking a flexible schedule (2–4 days a week) or remote work options. This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced radiologists looking to practice in a supportive, team-oriented environment with no night-time or inpatient responsibilities.


Position Highlights

As a General Radiologist, you will:

  • Interpret a wide range of studies, including general radiology, abdominal imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, CT, and ultrasound.
  • Optional credentialing in 3-D mammography (tomosynthesis) is desirable but not required.
  • Fellowship training in Body Imaging and/or MSK imaging is valuable but not mandatory.
  • Enjoy a schedule with no night-time studies, no on-call responsibilities, and limited emergencies.
  • Work Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM, with a rotating half-day Saturday shift.
  • Utilize PowerScribe software and PACS systems (transitioning to McKesson or Fuji) with hardware provided for remote candidates.


Excluded Services:

  • No biopsies, drainages, or invasive procedures.
  • No obstetrical, neonatal, pediatric, or major trauma imaging.
  • No nuclear medicine or molecular imaging studies.

Visa Sponsorship:

  • J-1 and H1-B visa sponsorship is not available for this role.


Requirements

  • Board Certification or Eligibility by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Competency in interpreting CT and other imaging modalities.
  • Strong organizational and efficiency skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians and technologists.
  • Exceptional communication skills to produce clear, concise, and actionable radiology reports.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred but not required.
