**Position: Clinical Radiologist** - **Location:** Plattsburgh, NY - Albany 160m; Montpelier, VT 70m - Full-time, permanent position **Job Highlights:** - **Flexible Practice Options:** General radiology with opportunities to incorporate subspecialty focus areas. - **Work Environment:** Collaborative and collegial setting with experienced RTs and sonographers. - **Hybrid Schedule:** Combination of on-site and remote (home-based) interpretation. **Responsibilities:** - **Core Duties:** - Interpret diagnostic radiology studies for adult and pediatric patients. - Modalities include X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, basic nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, and mammography (screening & diagnostic). - Support breast imaging procedures, including US- and mammography-guided biopsies (preferred but not required). - **Technology:** - Philips Ingenia 1.5T MRI, Philips Brilliance 64-slice CT scanner, and Hologic Tomosynthesis with C-View. - Utilize advanced IT infrastructure: Visage PACS, Nuance Workflow Orchestration, PowerScribe, and Epic EMR. - **Rotating Schedule:** - On-site focus on mammography and fluoroscopy. - Remote (home-based) focus on US, CT, and MRI. - Hybrid role requires a minimum of 12 weeks on-site, with negotiable on-site/remote distribution. - **Call and Coverage:** - After-hours radiology (8 pm8 am) covered by a third-party service. - Swing shifts (12 pm8 pm) shared among radiologists. - Optional, compensated weekend shifts shared across multiple providers. - **Licensure & Compliance:** - Complete all state and federal licensure and documentation for teleradiology practice and billing compliance. **Qualifications:** - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology. - Proficiency in diagnostic imaging across various modalities. - Interventional radiology skills for breast biopsy procedures are desirable. **Compensation and Benefits:** - **Competitive Salary:** Commensurate with experience. - **Loan Repayment Assistance:** Provided by the University of Vermont Medical Group. - **Additional Benefits:** - Comprehensive benefits package. - Flexible schedule and excellent work-life balance. - Access to global health initiatives.
