We are seeking a Locum Radiologist to join its dedicated team for ongoing coverage through 2025. This position focuses on outpatient mammography services, providing high-quality diagnostic and interventional breast procedures in a hospital-based setting. Coverage dates are flexible, including December, February, and March, with potential for recurring monthly shifts.
- Perform mammography and breast imaging services for adult and geriatric patients.
- Conduct interventional procedures, including stereotactic and ultrasound-guided localizations and MRI-guided biopsies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including mammography technologists, IT specialists, and receptionists.
- Ensure accurate documentation using the Epic EMR system.
- Maintain high standards of patient care, ensuring safety and dignity for all patients.
- Utilize teleradiology as applicable (not for mammography).
Job Responsibilities

Qualifications
Active Massachusetts medical license – Required.
Proven expertise in mammography and breast imaging procedures.
Proficiency in interventional breast procedures, including stereotactic and MRI-guided techniques.
Minimum of 2 months credentialing timeline if MA licensed.
Working Hours
February 3rd–7th and 17th–21st, 2025.
March 24th–28th, 2025.
Skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with support staff and technologists.
Proficient in utilizing Epic EMR for documentation.
Detail-oriented and committed to delivering patient-centered care.
