**Position is primarily on-site at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital**
Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is expanding its Community Radiology Section, and we are seeking full-time on-site diagnostic radiologists to join our dynamic and growing regional hospital practice. In this role, you’ll support the healthcare networks of Vanderbilt’s regional hospitals mainly in Tullahoma but with opportunities to support Lebanon and Bedford, TN, bringing high-quality care to communities across the region.
Position Highlights
- Combination of Subspecialty & General Radiology: You'll have the chance to concentrate on your subspecialty (if applicable), and you’ll also broaden your skill set by interpreting a variety of imaging modalities.
- Variety of Settings: You’ll mainly provide services to Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital but at times flex on-site or remotely to other regional hospitals, allowing you to work in different settings and impact diverse patient populations.
- Professional Development: We support your continuous learning with CME funding, for professional development, and up to 41 days for vacation, holidays, and training.
- We anticipate the schedule to include 219 shifts annually, 18 weekend day shifts per year, no overnights or call-backs. Optional internal paid moonlighting opportunities are available.
- A home workstation will be provided for weekend shifts.
Position Requirements
- MD or equivalent degree and ABR certificate or eligibility
- Fellowship training in subspecialties like Abdominal Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, Neuroradiology, or Breast Imaging and Intervention is a plus but not required
- Eligible for a Tennessee medical license
- Comfort and willingness to perform routine fluoroscopy, CT, or ultrasound-guided procedures, including breast biopsy is required.
- Willing to work on-site at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital
