Job Responsibilities
Conduct various imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds.
Interpret Imaging Results:
Analyze and interpret images to diagnose medical conditions accurately.
Collaborate with Healthcare Teams:
Work closely with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans based on imaging results.
Patient Interaction:
Explain procedures to patients, ensuring they understand the process and any necessary preparations.
Maintain Accurate Records:
Document findings and maintain thorough patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Quality Control:
Ensure the quality and safety of imaging procedures, adhering to best practices and protocols.
Stay Current with Advancements:
Engage in continuous education and training to keep up with advancements in diagnostic radiology and imaging technology.
Supervise Technologists:
Oversee and mentor radiologic technologists and other staff involved in imaging procedures.
Participate in Research and Development:
Contribute to clinical research and the development of new imaging techniques or protocols.
