Seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Radiologist to perform 100% IR services, including some responsibilities for CTA, MRA, and vascular lab studies. In addition to the hospital-based practice, there is protected IR clinic time and an opportunity to become a shareholder in a thriving vein clinic. Dedicated clinic time is 1:4 days.
Day to day responsibilities include work in PAD, Interventional Oncology (SIR-Sphere and Therasphere, chemoembolization and thermal and cryo-ablations), UFE, vertebral augmentation, central venous access including ports, IVC filters, central venous stenting/reconstruction, biliary/GI/GU interventions, dialysis access maintenance, occasional TIPS, and the usual non-vascular drainage procedures and biopsies. There is a PICC team onsite.
The department is state-of-the-art with both Philips and Siemens Fluoro suites, 3 high-end Siemens Ultrasound units, a dedicated CT scanner for IR biopsies and a 20-bed pre-post procedure patient care unit.
MIVS, LLC owns/operates Legacy Vein Clinic a busy vein clinic immediately adjacent to the IR department in the Medical Office Building of the hospital offering EVLT, RFA, VenaSeal, Sclerotherapy, and Phlebectomy. Legacy is the only IAC accredited vein center in the State of Indiana.
Current IR section includes three CAQd IR physicians, a clinical nurse for inpatient rounding/management and consults, dedicated scheduling resources for hospital procedures and a full clinic staff. Call will be 1:4 covering one non-trauma hospital.
