Job Summary

Geisinger’s Radiology team of 80+ Radiologists is expanding. Join part of a strong MSK Radiology team of 11 and you will have the ability to perform procedural work in an academic environment engaged in training radiology residents, interact with Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Oncology, Sports Medicine, Rheumatology and various other training program, with a complexity and variety of pathology. Preference for onsite, open to hybrid position AT A GLANCE: • 80% MSK, 20% Emergency Radiology • Work 10 weekend per year/recovery day off during the week • Work with a team of 11 MSK Radiology subspecialty group • No mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology • Teaching opportunity with our Radiology Residents and GCSOM medical school students • Continual growth with our Orthopaedic Institute, Orthopaedic residents in Central/NE Regions • Research opportunities (if desired) • Robust Compensation and Incentive package to include signing bonus/loan repayment options • Retirement options include 401k, Roth TSA-403(b), 457(b) • Annual CME dollars and CME time off • Paid malpractice including tail coverage • Full relocation for qualified candidates

Job Duties

GEISINGER MEDICAL Center (GMC), the largest tertiary/quaternary care teaching hospital in the region, is licensed for 475 beds, including 89 pediatric beds in the Janet Weis Children’s Hospital. GMC, a Magnet Hospital, maintains the region’s only Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center with additional qualifications in pediatrics. GMC offers an array of highly specialized medical and surgical services, including neurosciences, cardiovascular services, transplantation, women’s health (in the Women’s Pavilion), oncology and orthopaedics.
