Mammography Opening - Silverton, OR Located 40m to Portland Position Details

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Hospital-based Breast Center
  • 3 days/week minimum; 8 am - 5 pm schedule, open Monday to Friday - Additional schedule flexibility as mutually agreed
  • No call.
  • 10 weeks Vacation
  • Level 4 trauma designation
  • No ER volume
  • Powerscribe dictation into EPIC, EPIC Mammography reporting
  • 1 mammography room and 2 ultrasound rooms at Silverton; 1 mammography room and 1 ultrasound room at the Imaging Center (only screening exams performed at this facility)
  • 250 radiologists in the Seattle-based practice, with the Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician
  • Support staff includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs , 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator
  • Breast navigator assists in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and helps schedule follow-up care for mammography patients
  • Teleradiology is not an option for this need- is used for diagnostic radiology exams, but not for breast imaging
  • Adult patient demographic. **Compensation and Benefits:
  • 1st year's annual compensation $344,000 - $516,000 based on experience and training
  • Supplemental pay for commuting more than 60 miles from home shift coverage.

Requirements Board Eligible or Board Certified Fellowship-Trained -or- Extensive Practice Experience in Breast Imaging BLS Proficiency in mammography and breast biopsies
