Loyola University Medical Center is seeking a Locum Radiologist for an ongoing assignment beginning January 2025. This position is hospital-based with coverage across all three locations, and the radiologist will be based at LUMC.

Position Details:

• Dates of Coverage: January 2025 - Ongoing
• Practice Setting: Hospital-based. Provider will read for all three locations (LUMC, GMH, MNH)
• Will Wait for License? No
• Days Needed: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• Medical Setting: Inpatient
• Call Requirements: Negotiable

Patient Demographics & Volume:

• Patient Ages: All (pediatric imaging not required)
• Average Case Volume (per day): Variable by rotation, approximately:
  • 35 CT scans, or
  • 100 X-rays, or
  • 60 Ultrasounds
• Trauma Levels:
  • LUMC - Trauma I
  • GMH - Trauma II
  • MNH - Trauma II

Procedures & Equipment:

• Required Procedures:
  • Angiography
  • Mammography
  • CT
  • Ultrasound
• EMR/Documentation Systems:
  • Epic, PowerScribe, Intlerad PACs, Softek Illuminate

Support and Additional Details:

• Radiologists in Practice: 10.80 FTEs
• Teleradiology: Not used currently, but open to remote reading (subject to schedule approval)
• Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated 3 months
• Facility Reimbursements: Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage billed at the IRS standard rate (local providers reimbursed for parking only)

• BLS Certification: Required
• Rate Submission: Submit your best rate (conversion rate cap of $25k)
