Premier Physician Services, LLC is currently working with their client located in Honolulu, HI to fill several needs that they currently have for in-person Diagnostic Radiologists to provide locum support for 3-6 months.

Clean candidates preferred for faster credentialing to be possible.
3-6 month assignments strongly preferred.
On-site coverage in Hawaii is required.
Needs are at their Honolulu and Ewa Beach campuses - will be privileged at both with one application. Teleradiology coverage will be needed at Molokai General, so privileging is required for that location as well.
-Certifications: American Board Certification Required
-License: Active Hawaii license required
-American Board Certification required in Radiology
-BLS required (advanced life support certificates accepted in lieu of BLS)
-M.D. required (not willing to consider D.O.s at this time)
-American Medical grads preferred
-Shifts: There are 2 shifts daily, staffed 7 days/week. 7:30am - 5:00pm and noon - 9:00pm.
-Evening call scheduled from 4:00pm - 9:00pm. Unless Contrast Imaging coverage is needed at a facility, call can be taken from home. .
Nighthawk covers 9:00pm-7:30am daily
-Trauma Level: Honolulu-I, Ewa Beach-II
-Cases Per Shift: 50 plain films, 25 Ultrasound, 30 Computed tomography - these modalities are required.
MRI is helpful but not required.
-Other Radiologists in the group: 15-17 currently in group with recruitment underway
-EMR: Epic (CareLink) & McKesson
-Voice recognition dictation: Nuance
-COVID Vaccination Requirement: proof of vaccine requested for all locums, but boosters aren't required.
-Schedule: Two shifts are staffed 7 days/week - 7:30am - 5:00pm and Noon - 9:00pm..Call coverage is requested for some evenings from 4:30pm-9:00pm. Locums are required to be flexible and work some weekend shifts to give staff radiologists a day off.
-Job Setting/ Type of Cases: Hospital setting with the case mix of Plain films, Ultrasound, and Computed Tomography. MRI is helpful but not required.
-Credentialing: Privileges generally take 3 months, but emergency privileges may be possible for clean candidates when approved by facility.
