A hospital in northern California has an opportunity for an Interventional Radiologist to provide locum coverage.
Opportunity Details:
- Schedule: 8a-4:30p, night call after 4:30p, weekend shifts included
- Patient Volume: 50 studies per day, 5-8 procedures per day
- Admissions per Day: 12-15
- Patients per Day: ED daily volume is 85-90 patients, average daily inpatient/OB census is ~50 patients (includes ICU and OB)
- Required Procedures: IR procedures, CT/US biopsies, barium studies, and lumbar punctures
- Types of Cases: Surgical, medical, ICU, and OB
- Support Staff: Diagnostic imaging nurses and techs
- EMR: Cerner
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Paid travel & expenses
