Geisinger’s Radiology team of 80+ Radiologists is expanding. Join part of a strong MSK Radiology team of 11 and you will have the ability to perform procedural work in an academic environment engaged in training radiology residents, interact with Orthopaedics, Orthopaedic Oncology, Sports Medicine, Rheumatology and various other training program, with a complexity and variety of pathology. Preference for onsite, open to hybrid positionJob Duties
AT A GLANCE:
- 80% MSK, 20% Emergency Radiology
- Work 10 weekend per year/recovery day off during the week
- Work with a team of 11 MSK Radiology subspecialty group
- No mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Neuroradiology
- Teaching opportunity with our Radiology Residents and GCSOM medical school students
- Continual growth with our Orthopaedic Institute, Orthopaedic residents in Central/NE Regions
- Research opportunities (if desired)

Position Details
Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center (GWV) has been a part of the Geisinger family since opening as the NPW Medical Center in 1981. The professionals at GWV provide high-quality, coordinated, patient-centered care for residents of northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond. Located just outside of Wilkes-Barre, GWV is home to a Level II trauma center to provide care for the most seriously ill and injured patients, as well as services in more than 50 specialty and subspecialty areas. The GWV campus includes the Richard and Marion Pearsall Heart Hospital, the Frank M. and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, the Tambur Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the Critical Care Building, all providing top-rated specialty care.
