Position Overview: Are you a BE/BC Diagnostic Radiologist with fellowship training in Body Imaging? We're seeking a skilled professional to join a well-established health system offering compensation comparable to, or exceeding, private practice levels - without the demands typically associated with it. Enjoy the support of a collaborative team and a balanced, fulfilling lifestyle in one of the country's most scenic areas.
What to Expect:
Specialized Imaging: Focus on subspecialized abdominopelvic imaging while interpreting general radiology studies.
Procedural Work: Light procedural work, including joint injections, lumbar punctures, thoracentesis, and paracentesis.
Advanced Procedures: Opportunity to perform additional interventional studies if desired, with advanced procedures handled by dedicated interventional radiologists.
Mammography: While not required, mammography skills are a plus for those interested.
Why This Community? Nestled in the stunning Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains, the community offers a peaceful, affordable, and safe environment to live and work. Surrounded by natural beauty, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities during your generous paid time off. The area is serene and progressive, with a strong sense of community and a focus on quality of life.
