Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 am-4:00 pm
- 2 Types of Call: Weekday 4pm-11pm call from home (only with no day shifts on those days) about on average once a week
- Also, weekend call about 7 calls per year
Clinical Details
- Growing Radiology Department of over 50 subspecialized radiologists supporting clinical services across multiple facilities
- Exhibit strong clinical skills to work effectively and efficiently across the full spectrum of imaging modalities/procedures relevant to MSK imaging
- This is an on-site position with participation in interventional procedures including MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsy
- Practice setting is hospital-based
- Average Number of Cases Per Day: Mix plain film and cross sectional. 110 xrays, 20 MRIs/CT/Ultrasound
- Trauma Level/Designation: 1-2
- Number of Radiologists in Practice: Specific to MSK is 4.8 FTEs, in department 41 FTE
- Teleradiology is not used for MSK
- Patient Age Demographic: All ages, but pediatrics not required
- There are opportunities for clinical and translational research if interested
Requirements
- Board Certified in Radiology
- Fellowship-Trained in MSK Radiology
- Active IL license or already in process
- BLS
- State experience with procedures: MRI, CT, joint injection/aspiration, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsy
- Will consider both on-site and remote candidates
Call
- Intermittent evening shift and weekend call duties are fulfilled remotely from home with fully functional PACS/Voice recognition systems
