Radiology Opportunity - Laurinburg, NC
Charlotte Radiology is seeking radiologists to join our practice in a NC community hospital located on the SC line close to Pinehurst, the coast, and metropolitan areas in the Carolinas. The ideal candidate would have an interest in general body, emergency/urgent care and advanced thoracic and abdominopelvic imaging. In addition, basic procedural skills such as CT and US-guided percutaneous interventions is preferred, but not absolutely required. The position would best fit a self-motivated individual who is looking to build his or her local practice while enjoying the suburban and rural beauty of the Carolinas.
Responsibilities include:
Charlotte Radiology is comprised of 100+ Board Certified radiologists and 25+ physician assistants, serving as the area’s imaging experts since 1967. Over the last 50 years, we have become one of the largest and most progressive radiology groups in the nation, and a founding partner of US Radiology Specialists since 2018. In addition to offering 24/7 coverage for 19 hospitals, we also own and operate 17 breast centers, a mobile mammography program, 2 vein centers, several vascular and interventional clinics, and jointly own and operate 6 free-standing imaging centers. Our physician team is active in research and clinical trials and has authored many scientific papers and presentations in multiple sub-specialties of radiology. The group has a strong relationship with Atrium Health and actively participating in the growth of the new Wake Forest School of Medicine – Charlotte and The Pearl innovation district.

- Diagnostic imaging of the chest, abdomen, and pelvis
- Applicants must have American Board of Radiology certification (or be board eligible and actively pursuing certification). Subspecialty training in body imaging or cardiothoracic imaging is a plus for one position, and non-vascular interventional capabilities are desired for the second position.
