Position Overview: Jefferson Health seeking a fellowship trained Breast Radiologist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for breast imaging and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret a full range of breast imaging studies, including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and tomosynthesis.
- Provide accurate and timely diagnoses of breast conditions and diseases, including breast cancer, using advanced imaging techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with breast abnormalities.
- Participate in research initiatives and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of breast imaging.
- Mentor and supervise residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals in breast radiology techniques and interpretation.
- Provide onsite coverage to community centers based on location and convenience
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- ABR board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging or equivalent experience.
- Valid medical license in the state of Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey(or eligible for licensure).
- Proficiency in interpreting a wide variety of breast imaging studies.
