Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is launching a new diagnostic radiology residency program to further enhance their mission of medical education and training. LVHN takes pride in our residency and fellowship programs as a crucial piece of our mission to heal, comfort and care for the people of our community. For 100 years, Lehigh Valley Health Network has sponsored independent graduate medical education training programs. We are a regional clinical campus of the University of South Florida's Morsani College of Medicine and currently support 35 ACGME -accredited residency and fellowship training program and 350 trainees. The residency program will be administered in partnership with Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley, P.C. (MILV) which is one of the largest independent private practice radiology groups in Pennsylvania.

This is a unique opportunity to participate in starting a program from the very beginning. The successful candidate will:

• Demonstrate a strong interest in resident education and program leadership.
• Have prior experience in resident education to qualify for the position of Program Director.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and management skills with an ability to collaborate with medical staff, hospital management, medical students, and residents.
• Demonstrate clinical excellence in an area of subspecialty training.

Medical Imaging of Lehigh Valley (MILV) is a progressive, subspecialized private practice group providing exclusive radiology services to Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a university-affiliated network. The full-time position requires onsite coverage at Allentown, PA, with partnership opportunity for the suitable candidate. The group has an outstanding reputation and performs over 1.3 million radiology exams per year. We have state of the art equipment at the 14 campuses and 55 outpatient centers of LVHN, which has a Level I trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, Cancer center of excellence, affiliated with Memorial Sloan Kettering, among many other highest levels of accreditation and recognitions.

The position is supported by protected academic time dedicated to residency training, the remaining time dedicated to clinical imaging. The candidate will have a faculty appointment at the University of South Florida, commensurate with prior experience and academic rank.
