Job Summary:

We are seeking a radiologist to join a busy private practice in Blacksburg, Virginia due to retirement.

Qualified candidates:
  • Board eligible or board certified
  • Sub-specialty training a plus, but not required
  • Join a collegial, physician-owned private practice
  • All study types, modalities and procedures are shared equally (including breast imaging)
  • Competency or willingness to learn basic procedures is required
    • Procedures performed by the group include: PICC, tunneled venous access, paracentesis, thoracentesis, arthrogram, lumbar puncture / myelogram, epidural steroid injection, solid organ biopsy, lung biopsy, chest and abdominal drain placement, breast biopsy and localization, kyphoplasty
  • Overnight final reads are provided by a separate group
